This beautiful room raised the bar for workshop locations. Over Easter a big group met here, near King’s Cross for four days to thrash out a film about depression and a film about therapy or treatment for depression. The team included 6 young people who have experience of depression, a small team of researchers from King’s College who have been working on research into the subject of young people, depression and therapy for four years, and what was known as the creative team. It was a really good experience, the young people’s contributions were so thoughful and succint and we were able to make creative strides and get a lot of work done. I’m in the studio now, with a pile of drawings, audio flies, photos and animated sequences and it feels quite a big responsibility to do justice to the subject and the courage of the participants.
