Tracy & Hobbs trips

Emily and I have been to and fro a lot in the last few weeks.  This week we went mudlarking, which was such a nicely strange experience, having a river’s eye view in a city that you know, and getting a perspective on all the life that’s been before.  We found a lot of animal bones and teeth (one of which was from a carnivore), and many clay pipes. We met some nice folk and plan to go again.

We visited the Dalston Eastern Curve Garden, which looked great, even in Feburary.  We hope to be able to work with them this year, if all our fundraising goes to plan.

Here are some beautiful snowy views from our trip to Finland, just incase the February mud is getting too much.  Feast your eyes on the sparkliness.  (The owl is settled in the Natural History Museum in Jyväskylä)
